Obituary of Joseph Welch

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, at Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene for Joseph Michael Welch of Eugene, who died Oct. 25 of cancer. He was 47.He was born Feb. 21, 1965, in San Diego to James and Marsha Feagans Welch. He married Jennifer Bautista on Dec. 24, 2009, in Los Angeles.He served in the U.S. Army. He worked as an electronic medical records coordinator for Good Samaritan hospital in Corvallis.Survivors include his wife; his parents, Marsha Welch of Lake Forrest, Calif., and Michael Welch of Redlands, Calif.; two sons, Kirk and Ryan, both of Vista, Calif.; a daughter, Jessica Welch of Vista; two stepsons, R.J. Bautista and Joshua Bautista, both of Eugene; a stepdaughter, Danielle Bautista of Eugene; and two brothers, John of Tustin, Calif., and James Welch of Temecula, Calif.Arrangements by Musgrove’s at Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene.
