Obituary of Dennis Payne

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, at West Lawn Memorial Funeral Home in Eugene for Dennis Payne of Eugene, who died Oct. 31 of complications from ALS. He was 41. A burial will follow at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene.He was born in Roseburg to Samuel and Barbara Nelson Payne. He was married to Shanti Payne.He graduated from Pleasant Hill High School, then attended Lane Community College for his pilot’s license.He managed an AM/PM store in Springfield and worked for Costco for more than 16 years.Survivors include his wife; a son, Kieler of Eugene; a daughter, McKenzie of Eugene; and two sisters, Tracy Primrose of Eugene and Kimberly Payne of Oklahoma.Arrangements by Musgrove’s at West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene.
