Obituary of Albert Dobbins

COBURG — Albert R. Dobbins of Coburg died Nov. 25 of age-related causes. He was 88. No service is planned.He was born Oct. 25, 1924, in Toledo to Amos and Ragna Leganger Dobbins. He married Nina L. Dobbins in August 1966 in Reno, Nev.He graduated from high school and attended some college. He was in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked as a millwright for the carpenters’ union for 40 years and retired in 1974.Survivors include a son, Steve of Aurora; two daughters, Alberta Koenning of Corvallis and Teresa Qualley of Coburg; a brother, Leroy Mattson of Burnt Woods; two sisters, Bell Wells and Ina Alford, both of Aumsville; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove’s at West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene.
