Stanley DuyckThe funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:15 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Eugene for Stanley Peter Duyck of Eugene, who died Nov. 19 of cancer. He was 84. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, at Musgrove Family Mortuary.He was born Nov. 24, 1927, in Forest Grove to Peter and Sophia Schneider Duyck. He married Naoma LeClere on Oct. 24, 1951, in St. Louis. She died Nov. 22, 2002.He held a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He had a lifetime career in insurance and was a founding partner of KPD Insurance.Survivors include four sons, Jeff and Christopher, both of Eugene, and Chip and Matthew, both of New York City; two daughters, Kathryn “Missy” Lathon and Cynthia Couey, both of Eugene; a brother, James of Portland; a sister, Dorothy Milo of Portland; and eight grandchildren.Private burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Remembrances to Eugene’s Carmelite Sisters of Oregon.
