Obituary of Esther Montgomery

Esther B. Montgomery of Eugene died Dec. 1 of age-related causes. She was 96. No service is planned.She was born March 18, 1916, in Wyandott, Ohio, to Thomas and Jessie Rose Blackburn. She married Murray Montgomery on Dec. 6, 1941, in Cattletsburg, Ky.She held bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Ohio State University. She was a homemaker.Survivors include her husband; a son, Thomas of Eugene; two daughters, Ellen Parker of North Logan, Utah, and Martha Montgomery of Eugene; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove’s at Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene
