Obituary of Cleo Peterson

Cleo PetersonA memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17, at Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene for Cleo Lucile Peterson of Eugene, who died Nov. 28 of age-related causes. She was 87.She was born July 22, 1925, in Redmond to Lynn and Maybelle Jarrett Royal. She married Joseph “Skip” Peterson on Jan. 31, 1953, in Eugene. He died Sept. 4, 1996.She attended Oregon State University during World War II. She worked for many years as a medical secretary and office manager for Dr. Robert Jones and Dr. Kraig Jacobson.Survivors include a son, Michael of Eugene; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.Remembrances may be made to Greenhill Humane Society.
