John AlltuckerJohn Alltucker of Eugene died Dec. 14 of complications of Alzheimer’s disease. He was 92. A memorial service is planned for a later date.He was born Jan. 1, 1920, in Exeter, Calif., to John and Grace Wallace Alltucker. He married Elizabeth Ann Love in June 1948 in Palo Alto, Calif.He held a master’s degree in civil engineering from Stanford University. He served as a first lieutenant in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He worked for 13 years as a construction engineer for Keiwit Company. In 1959, he purchased Eugene Sand & Gravel, which he owned and operated until his sold it in 2006.Survivors include his wife; four sons, Mike of Springdale, Utah, Keith of Helena, Mont., Scott of Salem and Kevin of Eugene; two sisters, Margaret Seaborn of Sunriver and Ruth Shepherd of Salem; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
