Obituary of Mary Lucas

A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 21, in the Gateway Living Activity Room in Springfield for Mary Anne Lucas of Eugene, who died April 16 of cancer-related causes. She was 83.She was born Nov. 12, 1928, in Myrtle Point to A. Milton and Alice (Train) Cooper. She married Willard Lucas on March 7, 1948, in Myrtle Point.She was a graduate of Myrtle Point High School. She was a homemaker and was co-manager with her husband of Lucas Pioneer Ranch Lodge in Agness from 1976 until her retirement in 1998.Survivors include her husband; two sons, Larry of Eugene and Patrick of Beijing, China; two daughters, Melinda Mross of Eugene and Nancy Tullius of Salem; a brother, Patrick Conley of Scotts Mills; a sister, Kathlene Wilson of Silverton; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family MortuaryRemembrances to World Vision.
