Obituary of Helen Elmgren

Helen Marleen Elmgren, 75 of Creswell, passed away on February 8th of kidney failure. She was born in Bridger, Montana to Clemens and Josephine Kilwien. She is survived by her daughter Marcia Johnsen of Creswell, her son William Elmgren of Fairbanks, Alaska, her daughter Marleen Elmgren of Pleasant Hill, her mother Josephine Kilwien and sister Barbara of Creswell, sister Theresa Applebee of Eugene, brothers Vincent and Eugene Kilwien, both of Creswell and 7 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Charles Elmgren, sisters Kathy and Roslee, father Clemens and grandson David. She was a retired beautician who enjoyed scrapbooking, embroidering and spending time with family and friends and treasured her grandchildren. A visitation will be held at 12:30pm on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Lane Memorial Funeral Home followed by the funeral at 1:00pm. A potluck dinner at Barb’s house will follow the service.
