Obituary of Debra Feddersen

Debbie, a beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend joined the lord unexpectedly on February 15th from a blood clot in her lungs at the age of 59. She was born in Eugene, Oregon to Howard Behrens and Marian (Jensen) Behrens. Debbie spent her early childhood years growing up in Portland before, moving to Eugene with her parents and brother. She graduated from Sheldon High School in 1972 where she was very active playing the clarinet in the school band. In 1974, she started work at the Eugene post office, where she met the love of her life Stewart Feddersen. They later married in 1975 in Springfield, Oregon. She began her career as a Mary Kay consultant in 1990, where she won many awards and loved everyone she had the chance to work with. To her children’s’ friends, she was known as mom, she embraced them all as her own. Debbie had a passion for cooking for any family gathering. She loved nothing more than making her special pancakes for her children and granddaughters. She loved traveling but her favorite place was the Oregon Coast. Debbie is survived by Stewart her husband of 37 years, sons Dan (Erin), Mike (Erin), Nathan (Jessica), granddaughters Ashli and Hannah, father Howard and brother Don (Keri) Behrens. She is also survived by her loving cat Sassy. Debbie is preceded in death by her mother Marian. Friday, February 22nd, a viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at West Lawn Memorial Park, 225 South Danebo Ave, Eugene, Oregon.
