Obituary of Paul Frost

October 6, 1930 - March 6, 2013 Paul John Frost, 82, passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 in Coburg, Oregon. He was born October 6, 1930 to Jacob and Elizabeth (Wirtz) Frost in Raymond, Iowa and was one of six children. He served his country in the Air Force in 1951. On June 16, 1952, he married the love of his life Luette Owen. Paul spent most of his life as a plasterer and enjoyed going to Duck football games. Paul's legacy is his deep faith in God, his amazing sixty year marriage to his wife, his large and beautiful family, and his incredible work ethic. Paul was a devout Catholic who attended St. Paul Church every Sunday for fifty years and was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus. The only love that came close to match his love of his Creator was the love he held for his adoring wife Luette and for his children and grandchildren. Paul worked tirelessly as a plasterer and instilled a hard work ethic in every one of his children. Paul had the warmest smile, the most beautiful eyes, and an infectious laugh that will never be forgotten. Survivors include his wife Luette; his 12 children, daughter Genavieve Roberts of Eugene, daughter Karen Mundell of Eugene, son Geary Frost of Brownsville, son Bret Frost of Bend, daughter Jody Martell of Birmingham, Alabama, son Tyrone Frost of Springfield, daughter Renee Jenson of Springfield, daughter Cindy Mengler of Junction City, son Jeffery Frost of Eugene, son Randy Frost of Washougal, Washington, son Troy Frost of Eugene, son David Frost of Drain; his sister Berniece Tompkins of Waterloo, Iowa; as well as 40 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his beautiful granddaughter Alicsha Frost-Chalmers, his brothers Edward, Jim, and Ron, and his sister Lucy. A funeral mass will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 18, and a viewing will take place before mass from 9:30 to 10:30. Burial will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery at 2:00pm. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary of Eugene.
