Obituary of Dayna Amacher

Dayna Amacher passed away March 14, 2013 at the age of 75 from age related causes. She was born October 1, 1937 in Susanville, California to Don & Geraldine (Robedeau) Gott.A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Peter Catholic Church. A viewing will be Wednesday, March 20th from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at West Lawn Memorial Park in Eugene. The Rosary will be at 7:00 PM on Wednesday following Visitation.Dayna graduated from St. Francis High School in Eugene, Oregon and attended classes at the University of Oregon, where she studied Geology.She worked for Sacred Heart Hospital in Eugene for 12 years as one of their housekeepers.She married Thomas J. Amacher on June 12, 1966 in Mt. Angel, Oregon.She was a "Rock Hound" and a member of the Obsidean club. Dayna enjoyed hiking, camping and gardening out at the ranch. She was strong in her faith and a devoted founding member of St. Peter Catholic Church.She is survived by her husband and three son's; Tim Amacher (Katrina) of Eugene, Ben Amacher (Haven) of Eugene and Jeff Amacher (Shelley) of Springfield. Two brothers, Don Gott Jr of Eugene and Bill Gott of Texas and a sister, Diane Anthony of Eugene.Memorial contributions can be made to Oregon Public Broadcasting Network.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary.
