Obituary of Lenora Wagoner

Nanny was a wonderful, forgiving and caring wife, mother and grandma who dedicated her life to family and friends. Nanny loved to visit with her extended family, and the friends that she treated as family. She enjoyed gardening, and especially cooking. A person could not visit Nan’s house without at least 3 offers to be fed by this caring woman, and you were always met at the door with a smile. Lenora was born in Avard, Oklahoma and had 4 sisters and 2 brothers, all who are previously deceased. She married Joe Francis Wagoner in 1947, who passed away in 1978 after 31 wonderful and happy years of marriage. Nanny is survived by her 5 daughters: Elaine Barnes of Boardman, OR; Patricia Lassen of Manteo, NC; Sandra Stokes, Julie Sanne, and Pamela Burris all of Springfield, OR. Nanny also was a loving Grandmother to her 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. There will be a Celebration of Life at Lane Memorial Gardens at 5300 W. 11th Ave. in Eugene, OR on Friday April 5th at 2:00 PM. “Forever with the Angels, Always in our hearts”
