Obituary of Nancy MacDowell

Nancy Rae MacDowell age 78, passed away April 4, 2013 in Eugene, Oregon. She was born April 5, 1934 in Multnomah County to Rachel & Harry Baldridge. A graveside service is planned for Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 2:00 at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Eugene. A Celebration of Life to follow at Gainsborough Community Center.Nancy married William Edwin MacDowell on February 24, 1951 in Gardner, Oregon. They were married for 56 before his death October 27, 2007.She worked as a nurse prior to having her children, at which time she became a mother and homemaker.Nancy loved roses and gardening, cooking & baking. She loved spending time with her granddaughters. She enjoyed camping and the outdoors when her children were young, loved life and entertaining her friends at BBQ's, she was very active with the kids sports programs.She is survived by her son Scott MacDowell and daughter In Law, Tina, of Cottage Grove, OR., two granddaughters, a sister Betty of Springfield, OR.,and a nephew, Dan of Gold Beach, OR.
