Obituary of Kenneth Miller

Kenneth passed away April 8, 2013 of age related causes at the age of 92. He was born May 6, 1920 in Klamath Falls, Oregon to Lorus & Clara Miller. A visitation is planned for Friday April 12, 2013 from 11:00-1:00 pm with a Funeral Service to follow at 1:00 pm at West Lawn Memorial Funeral Home at 225 S. Danebo Avenue in Eugene. Ken graduated from Pleasant Hill High School in 1939. Soon after graduation Ken enlisted in the US Navy prior to WWII where he served proudly on Destroyers escorting Air craft carriers in the South Pacific. After the war Ken spent many years in the Naval Reserves. In 1948 he married Bette Walsh who preceded him in death in 2007. A son, Dean also passed away in 2007. Survivors include Daughters Pamela Darcy of Springfield, Melanie Bennett of Eugene, Sons Lloyd of Eugene and Scott of Tucson, Arizona. A brother, Gerald of Eugene, 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be sent to Greenhill Humane Society.
