Obituary of Sandra Soleim
Sandra was a wonderful wife and mother, and the creative core of her family. She loved to walk along the Delta Ponds, taking pictures of the birds and was a supporter of the local "Raptor Center." She was a pubished fabric artist/quilter, who based her work on animal and nature themes. Sandra was a social person, leading Girl Scouts, attending church, joining quilting groups and teaching art classes.Born in Salem, Oregon and raised on the Oregon Coast, she honeymooned in Alaska with husband, James L. Soleim and set down family roots in both states, plus South Dakota. She loved long walks on the beach, Pacific Northwest Art, reading and gathering supplies for her art projects.
