Obituary of Louise Ellen Benedict

November 17, 1917 – APRIL 25, 2013Louise passed away peacefully, at age 95, in Bend, Oregon. Born November 17, 1917 in Pasadena, California, where she grew up and went on to graduate from Occidental College. Following graduation she met and married Robert M. Benedict, also of Pasadena. They were married almost 30 years, living in various countries and other duty assignments with the U.S. Army. After Robert retired as a Major from the service, they settled in Eugene, Oregon. Robert preceded her in death in 1970. Louise moved to Bend, Oregon in 2006 to be close to her son, grandsons and great grandsons. Louise is survived by her son Robert Jr. (Susan), her daughter Lee (Bill) Johnson, grandchildren, Tobey (Mark), Todd and Christian(Denise); and great grandsons, Xander, Rowen, and Ethan.
