Obituary of Betty Jean Conway

Betty Jean Howell-Conway, 80, of Monroe died on May 6, 2013. Betty was born on October 13, 1932 in Worthington, MN to Alvin and Myrtle Collin.Survivors include her husband Chuck Conway: two sons, Louis Stephen Howell of Monroe and Keith Grover Howell of Fallon, NV; a daughter, Arlene Karen Smith of Tomahawk, WI; two step-children, Cash Conway of Portland, OR and Dawn Carrie of Huntsville, TX; six grandchildren, Karen Jean Shepard, Silas Grover Howell, Mark Anthony Howell, Kassia Leona Deaguese, Heather Ashley Hayes and Alexis Rose Arpke; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Cronin of Wisconsin and one brother, Ben Collin of Arizona. Her first husband, Grover Howell and a son (Vic) Donnie Howell preceded her in death as well as brothers Ed, Ned, John and Alvin Collin and sisters Eva Deuth, Hazel Early and Avis Johnston. A private family inurnment is planned. Memorial Services will be held Monday, May 13th at 2:00 PM at the Monroe Church of Christ, 180 S. 6th St. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Benton Hospice at 2350 NW Professional Drive, Corvallis, OR 97330 or the Monroe Fire Department.
