Obituary of Frances Myers

Frances Vera Myers passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 7th 2013. Born September 5th, 1929 in Faith, South Dakota to Gayle & Christine Geiken Bishop. As an adult Frances lived in CA where she married Vernon Wesley Myers on November 16th 1947. She was very active in the church, her daughters' school, 4-H and The Jr. Old Timers. Also, a loving foster mother to fourteen babies, five year old twins and an 8 year old. In 1978 they moved to Las Vegas, NV and in 1994 to Eugene, OR. She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon, brother Billy Bishop and half brother Douglas Bishop. Frances will be greatly missed by her two daughters, Kathryn (Ike) Gilliam of Dallas, TX and Peggy (Steve) Huey of Junction City, OR: Three grandsons, Anthony (Rani) Foster of Kettle Falls, WA, Vance (Dani) Foster of Eugene, OR and Andrew Gilliam of San Antonio, TX: Six great-grandchildren, Kaiden, Reagan, Maycie, Mairyn, Alaina and Luke: Three half sisters Joy (Linden) Reynolds, Judy (Eddie) Evans and Ginger (Ron) Martin: and a half-brother Mike Bishop, all from Spanish Fork, UT. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 23rd at 11:00 am at Kings Grace Fellowship in Junction City.
