Obituary of Carol Lindgren

Carol E. Lindgren, 91 of Eugene, died May 18, 2013 of age-related causes. She was born January 16, 1922 in Lisbon, North Dakota to Carl and Effie (Martinson) Axling. She married Roy P. Lindgren May 14, 1943 in Eugene. She graduated from high school and was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery, reading, crossword puzzles, Oregon Duck Football, and the Portland Trailblazers. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Carol is survived by four sons, Dennis, Lanny, and Don of Eugene and Jerry of Junction City; a daughter, Teresa Sheppard of Junction City; eight grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy who passed away May 28, 2001; a son, Richard and a granddaughter, Erika Sheppard. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 28th from 1:00-3:00pm at Lane Memorial Funeral Home. Private burial will be at Lane Memorial Gardens.
