Obituary of Ann Porisch

Ann Porisch, 96 of Eugene, died May 13th with her granddaughter Rebecca Albrich and son Fred Porisch by her side.Ann was born to Lloyd and Jesse Duntley on April 27th, 1917 in Minneapolis, MN. Ann graduated from Washburn High School and married the late John C. Porisch on June 24th 1939. John worked for the U.S. Forest Service and they lived together on several ranger stations in Washington and Oregon until 1965 when they moved to Eugene.Ann enjoyed traveling, swimming, hiking and cross country skiing with her friends. She was also an active member of Grace Lutheran Church and a frequent volunteer in the community.Ann is survived by three children: Ruth Porisch of Hutchinson, KS; Fred Porisch of Billings, MT and Ed Porisch of Bellevue, WA and a brother, John Duntley of Minneapolis, MN. She is also survived by five grandchildren and a step-grandchild.In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Eugene Mission in Ann's name.A memorial service will be held at 2 pm. on June 15th at Grace Lutheran Church.
