Obituary of Bradley Chauran
Bradley Raoul Chauran 1957 - 2013 and Kelly Aileen Chauran 1959 - 2013 On June 5th, 2013 we lost our precious Tutu and Papa; Kelly Aileen Chauran and Bradley Raoul Chauran. Both lifetime residents of Veneta, Oregon, Kelly and Brad were high school sweethearts graduating from Elmira High in the late 70's. They remained active members of the community and avid volunteers for Fern Ridge School District, Boy Scouts and their church, Hope Chapel. Kelly surrounded herself with children her entire life as an Educational Assistant, Teachers Aide and Sunday School Instructor. She also worked as a meter reader for EWEB. Kelly bravely battled Multiple Sclerosis for more than a decade and despite her diagnosis, she was a childcare provider for many years. Brad too, dedicated his life to children. An avid outdoorsman, he shared his skills as a Hunter's Safety Instructor, baseball coach and Boy Scout leader for many years. He was a Machinist by trade spending the latter part of his career as the Shop Manager of a local aviation company. Brad's true passion however, was music. An accomplished drummer, he played with many bands across the state of Oregon. Together, Kelly and Brad enjoyed motorcycle riding, spending time with their children, their grandchildren and their dog Pip. They dedicated much of their lives to Hope Chapel as well as volunteering for charities such as Operation Christmas Child and disaster relief in Haiti. They are survived by parents: Joel & June Chauran, Joe & Ginny Bryant; children: Kadie Bonini & Luke Chauran; siblings: Greg, Joel & Tim (Chauran), Scottie, Shaun & John (Bryant); grandchildren: Connor, Sam & Henry (Bonini), Gavin & Charlie (Chauran) & 7 loving nieces and nephews. Memorial Service: Monday, June 17th, 11am at New Hope Christian College. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at West Lawn Memorial Park.
