Obituary of Hugh Jensen

Hugh Neven Jensen passed away June 17, 2013, he was 81. He will be laid to rest at West Lawn Memorial Park in Eugene, OR. surrounded by his loved ones.Hugh was born September 5, 1931 in West Salem, OR. to Milo and Ida Belle (Packer) Jensen. He graduated from Estacada High School class of 1950. He served in the US Navy as a Radar Man aboard the USS Boxer (1951-1954) during the Korean Conflict.Hugh married Lafona E. Houk June 3, 1957 in Monmouth, OR. He ranched out by Crow then later out by Junction City where he and his wife raised Registered Polled Hereford Cattle for about 40 years.Hugh is survived by his wife Lafona Jensen of Eugene, OR; daughters Lynette Estes of San Diego, CA and Macia (David) Bush of Eugene, OR. Also surviving is his brother Casper Neil Jensen of Columbia City, OR; three grandchildren Brian Estes of Tracey, CA.; Brad Estes of Tracey, CA; Laura Perkins of San Diego, CA. and 7 great grandchildren.Musgrove Family Mortuary is taking care of the arrangements.
