Obituary of Marjory Kelm

Marjory M. Kelm of Eugene passed away June 15, 2013, she was 84. A memorial service will be held June 20, 2013 at 3:00pm at West Lawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home.Marjory was born July 19, 1928 in Hettinger, North Dakota to Peter and Helen Fladstol. Her family moved from Lead, South Dakota to Oregon in 1940 where she attended Eugene High. Marjory married Volney W. Kelm in 1947, he preceded her in death in 1997.As a stay at home mother she enjoyed sewing, gardening, her children and grandchildren. She loved hiking, backpacking and canoeing.Marjory is survived by her son Ronald Kelm or Sedro Wooley, WA.; daughter Cheryl Peterson of Veneta, OR.; three sisters-Verle Parker, Carol Gooch and Lorraine Meisenholder, all of California, 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Associates Research at www.alz.org.Arrangements are being taken care of by Musgrove Family Mortuary
