Obituary of Sharon Ferney

Sharon Ferney age 64 of Eugene, OR., passed away on June 12th of Alpha 1 Antitrypsin type of emphysema. She was born March 1, 1949 in Richmond, California to Larry and Dixie Ferney. A celebration of life will be Saturday, June 22, 2013 at her home in Eugene.Sharon moved to Oregon in 1969 with her husband and children. She was the owner of the Walton Store, the Post Master of Walton and self appointed "Mayor."She is survived by her son, Christopher Megown (Tami) of Eugene, OR., and daughter, Kristee (Ron) Neumann of Eugene, OR., a brother, Steve (Harriette) Ferney of Kent, WA., and two sisters, Sandy (Reese) Whitcomb of Woodburn, OR., and Cindy (Richard) Turrubiate of Auburn, WA., her two grandchildren, Devin Cogdill and Jaedan Neumann and great grandson, Noah Abbe.Sharon spread joy, delight and laughter to those around her making them feel welcomed and loved. Her kind and loving nature touched many lives. She had the kind of spirit that drew you in and made you want to become more like her. She loved without judgement. Sharon's spirit will live on through her family and friends who had the honor to be a part of her inner circle.
