Obituary of Frank Chapman

Frank Chapman was born on December 28, 1926 in Warren, AK to George and Agnes Chapman. When he was 2 years old, he moved to Lancaster, OR. When he was 5, he moved to Junction City where his folks ran the Chapman Grocery Store. Frank went through grade school and high school at Junction City. He joined the Army in March 1945. He was stationed at Kobe, Japan and discharged November 1946. He married Betty Tucker on September 3, 1948. He is survived by his wife Betty of 65 years; his daughter Rebecca of Weiser, Idaho and son Jeffrey (Kathy) of Burlington, Washington; his sister Gilda (Leo) of Portland, Oregon; brother Roy (Roberta) of Junction City and 5 grandchildren: Samantha, Brittney, Erica, Wade and Jeb. He worked 32 years for Wildish Sand and Gravel and 10 years at Diesel Driving School as an instructor. The funeral will be July 5, 2013 at West Lawn Memorial Funeral Home at 225 South Danebo Avenue, Eugene, Oregon at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, send contributions to the Mission.
