Obituary of David Bonine

David Alexander Bonine of Eugene, age 76, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2013. He was born January 15, 1937 in Pasadena, CA to Elige & Leota (Wasson) Bonine.A Celebration of life will be Sunday, July 14th at 12:00 noon at Musgrove Family Center.David graduated from Riverside Poly High School, class of 1954 and went to L.A. City College where he studied and taught Criminal Science.He married Patty Hastad on May 27, 1967 in Riverside, CA.He loved working as a police officer, as a detective sergeant, working with the Riverside Police Dept. for 15 years. He also worked as a sales manager in the heavy equipment industry and was a Worshipful Master of the McKenzie River Masonic Lodge 195. David was a quiet man with a great sense of humor, he loved spending time with family, hunting, fishing, wood working, spending time watching Oregon Duck Sports & traveling to different parts of the world, especially the U.S.He is survived by his wife Patty, two son's, David Alan Bonine of Camas, WA; Paul Alexander Bonine of Portland, OR. a granddaughter, Kaylie Bonine and a grandson, Carson Bonine both of Camas, WA. and a sister, Nancy Gran of Orange County, CA.He was preceded in death by his sister's, Windalene Ferris & Donna Homsher.Memorial contributions can be made to Shriner's Hospital.
