Obituary of Ray Zankich

The funeral for Ray Zankich of Springfield will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, July 17, 2013 in the chapel at Springfield Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home. Ray died July 13th at the age of 84 from complications of aging. The visitation will be held at Springfield Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 from 2:00-5:00pm. He was born February 16, 1929 to parents Vukota and Josa Dzankic' in Montenegro. He worked as a logger and landscaper. Survivors include a brother, Milic Dzankic'; a sister, Milijana Dzankic'; a nephew, Zdravko Dzankic' of Montenegro, and a niece, Kaya Dzankich of Los Angeles, California. He was preceded in death by brothers Slobodan Dzankic, Blazo Dzankic, and Zdravko Dzankic' and a niece, Angie Dzankich. Arrangements entrusted to Springfield Memorial Funeral Home.
