Obituary of Jesse Wall
Jesse Dozier Wall passed away on July 28, 2013. He was born on July 16, 1918 to Jesse Clyde Wall and Ruby (McDaniel) Wall in Naples, Texas. Jesse served in the United States Army January of 1945 – August 1946 during World War 2. He attended California Open Bible Institute and received his diploma in May 1955. Jesse was an ordained minister with Open Bible Churches and a member of Open Bible Fellowship of Eugene. He was employed by Eugene Bible College as maintenance supervisor and served as director for Men of Vision Evangelize with Pacific Region Open Bible Churches. Jesse was a skilled carpenter and lent his hand in overseeing and constructing several churches within Open Bible Churches. In 1999 he founded the prayer booth ministry at Saturday Market downtown Eugene praying for individuals and was faithful up to a few months before his passing. Jesse was also an avid fisherman inviting friends to go with him.Jesse is survived by two sons, Richard Wall and Robert Wall of California, five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Rodney Wall and daughter Anita (Wall) Wood.A memorial to celebrate his life will be held Saturday, August 10 at 11am at Open Bible Fellowship, 1295 Taney Street, Eugene.
