Obituary of Kathleen Perrigo

Kathleen E. Perrigo "Kathy" of Eugene, OR, age 65, died August 29, 2013,of heart failure. She was born June 6, 1948 in Austin,Texas to Woodrow & Ruby (Cheetum) McVey.Kathy married Robert C. Perrigo in 1979 in Reno, Nevada, he died in 2005.She was a caregiver and took care of her mother. She also worked for Supercuts on Willamette Street as their receptionist. She enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint and porcelain dolls. Kathy had a love for people and she liked to travel, the highest on her list was family and friends to whom she was always a wonderful hostess. She had colorful stories to share with all and always had an ear to listen for those who needed to talk. She will be missed.Kathy is survived by a son, Steven Berry of Salem, OR. and two daughters, Debrah of San Diego, CA and Sierra N. Perrigo of Cottage Grove, OR. also, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, a sister, Nancy Howell of Coquille, OR and two brothers, Jerry McVey of Dalles, TX and James McVey of Eugene, OR.God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you and whispered "Come With Me." With tearful eyes we watched you slowly fade away. Although we loved you dearly, we would not make you stay. Your golden heart stopped beating, your hands put to rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best.No services are planned per Kathy's request.Arrangements entrusted to England’s Eugene Memorial Chapel.
