Obituary of Reinhold Meckle

Reinhold W. Meckle passed away on September 3, 2013. Reinhold was born February 1, 1935 to Benjamin and Katherine Meckle in Cathay, North Dakota. Reinhold was part of the 10th Infantry Division from 1956-1959. He was married to Marlys (Stubert) Meckle. They were married November 1, 1958. Reinhold and his wife moved to Oregon in 1960 where Reinhold found a job with Western Wire Rope in Eugene and worked there for 40 years.Reinhold enjoyed fishing, traveling, and spending time with his family. He was an avid Ducks fan.He is survived by his sons, Wes and his wife Laura, and Rod and his wife Tami; three grandchildren, Jennifer, Michelle, and Kane; and 2 great-grandchildren, Tianna and Mckynzie.The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 13th, at Lane Memorial Gardens, 5300 W. 11th Ave. in Eugene.
