Obituary of Rory Dschaak

Rory Dean Dschaak of Springfield, Oregon went home to Jesus on September 21, 2013 – finally free from cancer. He was born July 19, 1959 in Salem, OR to Howard and Eunice Dschaak. He attended Cottage Grove High School then joined the US Army in 1978. Spending 10 years in Germany, he learned the language and married Petra Algeier. Returning to Cottage Grove he worked construction then found his calling in computers. Attending Lane Community College, he became an IT Tech and began his career at Corvallis Clinics. He married Marlene Joy Marlow in 1995 and was preceded in death by their son, “Max.” He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Marlene Dschaak; their son, Tyler Dean Dschaak; daughters Emily Marie Perez-Reynolds, Natalia Rene Perez and Eva Rae Linder; grandchildren Malachi Cicero Perez and Tiernan Lee Smedley; in-laws Roylee and Erika Marlow; and extended family and friends, all of Springfield; his parents, Howard and Eunice Dschaak; sister Tammy Scholl; nephew Travis Dschaak of Arizona and half-sister Elayne Mason of Sacramento. The funeral will be held Sunday, September 29th at 2:00pm at Springfield Memorial Funeral Home, 7305 Main Street, Springfield, OR, 541-746-5311.
