Obituary of Laudie Rambousek
Laudie Rambousek, passed away September 25, 2013, in his sleep due to age related causes. He was born November 8, 1925 in Dickinson, North Dakota to Joseph Rambousek and Anna (Pavlicek) Rambousek. He married Elsie Jung in 1944, and moved to Eugene, Oregon in 1945. They had one daughter, Elaine. Laudie worked as a diesel mechanic for West Coast Trucking. He retired in 1985 to his ranch in Creswell, Oregon. He is survived by his daughter Elaine Phillips of Springfield, grandchildren Scott Phillips, and Candice Phillips, and two great grandchildren, Laudie Phillips, and Alec Barnes, and his companion and friend Nordy Malpass, and numerous nephews and nieces. Laudie will be remembered as a cherished Grandfather, Father, and friend. Viewing will be on Wednesday October 2, 2013 at Poole Larsen in Eugene from 9am to 11:30 am, followed by a funeral mass at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 12:15pm. There will be a luncheon following services. Entombment will be at West Lawn Memorial Park in Eugene.Arrangements entrusted to West Lawn Memorial Funeral Home.
