Jerry Lester TaylorJerry Lester Taylor, better known to his family as "JL" and his friends as "Taylor", of Florence, Oregon, died tragically at the age of 34 on October 3, 2013 in a motorcycle accident.Jerry was born on January 5th 1979 in West Covina, California, the son of Phillip John Taylor and William and Cynthia Tarza Snow Jones.His biggest joy in life was his boys. He has a one year old son Brayden and was the greatest father figure to Forrest and Skylar and absolutely loved being “Grandpa” to Forrest’s son AidenHe had a love for life and anything adventurous. He loved photography, hiking, traveling, and being spontaneous. He learned lessons in life that many will never experience. He faced challenges that would bring the average person to his knees yet came up smiling. His ambitions in life were to live free and simple, to care for others but be controlled by no one. He accepted you as you are and not as society says you should be. He had a huge heart and loved unconditionally and made everyone feel like family.Jerry is survived by his “Dad” William N. Jones Jr., Grandpa: Jerry R. Snow, three sons: Forrest Terwillegar, Skylar Terwillegar and Brayden Wilson-Taylor, grandson: Aiden Terwillegar, three sisters: Susan Davis, Crystal (William) Peterson, and Brittnee Taylor, three nieces: Sierra Davis, Danielle DaBell and Kimberly Peterson, two nephews: Joseph "Joey" Peterson, and James "Jimmie" Peterson, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip John Taylor and Cynthia Tarza Snow Jones. Grandmothers: LaRee H. Snow, Charlene Hopkins, and Myrth W. Jones. Grandfathers: Lester Charles Taylor Sr. and William N. Jones, Sr.Respecting Jerry’s wishes, he was cremated and he wanted no official service. We will all carry him in our hearts as he was a treasured love in a lot of people’s lives. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten!
