Obituary of Marlan White
Marlan (Lee) White, 77 of Eugene, OR passed away November 4, 2013 of cancer. Lee was born April 18, 1936, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Leonard and Cloie (Jorgensen) White. He joined the Marine Corps at age 17, serving two tours in Vietnam. He retired to Antelope Valley, CA after 20 years of service, retiring as a 1st Sgt. in 1998, moved to Eugene, Oregon. Lee married the love of his life Sharon Johnson-Reid, May 9, 1961. They raised one daughter together. Lee enjoyed hunting, fishing, Duck football and his great grandkids. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sharon; daughter: Diana Alexander (Tom) of Eugene; four grandkids; TJ Alexander of Eugene, Lee Ann (David) Mcbee of Springfield, Alina (William) Adair of Springfield and Keith (Susan) Alexander of Eugene; 13 great grandkids. Lee will be laid to rest at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland on Tuesday November 12, 2013 at 12:00 PMArrangements entrusted to Musgrove Family Mortuary.
