Virginia Lee VanGorden passed away November 19, 2013, age 85. Virginia was born March 2, 1928 in Lincoln, Nebraska to parents James Crawford & Ada Ellen (Newburn) Brinkworth. Virginia married Donald A. VanGorden on September 22, 1946 in Lincoln, Nebraska. She was a Executive Secretary. She is survived by 3 Children: Kathy Lee (husband Chuck) Schrader, Oregon; Deborah Lynne (husband Gary) Gibson, West Hills, CA; Brad Stuart (wife Susan) VanGorden, Eugene, OR. 8 Grandchildren, 6 Great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband Donald VanGorden; brother, Rex L. Brinkworth, Fontana, CA; & both parents. Memorial service will be Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013, 3:00pm at Westside Christian Church, 1866 Chambers St., Eugene. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Westside Christian Church. Lane Memorial Gardens in charge of arrangements.
