Obituary of Anthony McElfresh

Anthony 'Tony' Gene McElfresh age 60 of Eugene, OR passed away on December 2, 2013. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on May 22, 1953 to Taylor and Mary (Guilfoyle) McElfresh.A funeral mass will be held Monday, December 9th at 12:15 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Eugene. Viewing will be at 11:15 before the service. Burial will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Monday, December 9th at 2:30.Tony attended classes at Lane Community College studying Audio and Visual Arts.Early in his life he was stationed in Italy where he served in the U.S. Navy, upon his return he worked in Forestry for many years in the Pacific Northwest until retiring from the profession to drive Taxi in Eugene.He married Wendy Lang on March 17, 1979 and they divorced in 1988.He is survived by a daughter, Bonnie McElfresh of Portland, OR and a son, Jonah McElfresh of Springfield, OR. a grandson, Jude McElfresh, two brothers, Steve McElfresh of Toulouse, France and Jack McElfresh of Belair, Ohio, two sister's, Rosalie McElfresh Bryant and Pam McElfresh Pitcher both of Cincinnati, Ohio.Memorial contributions to Mary Knoll Catholic Mission, PO Box 302, Maryknoll, NY.Arrangements entrusted to Musgrove Family Mortuary.
