Obituary of Bula Campbell

Bula V. Campbell of Springfield passed away November 29, 2013 at the age of 85. She was born April 11, 1928 to James and Minnie (Colley) Nelson. She married Columbus Campbell, Jr. on April 12, 1974 in Eugene, Oregon. Bula worked at Chase Gardens for five years and then in the laundry department at Sacred Heart Hospital for thirteen years. She is survived by a daughter, Reba Sibert of Springfield; two sons, Calvin Grantom Sr. of Springfield and Thomas Grantom of Eugene; three sisters, Eunice Terry of Wichita Falls, Texas, Dorothy Benson of Springfield, and Irene Swaggerty of Springfield; nineteen grandchildren; forty great-grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two daughters, Billie Carol Flegel on June 7, 2007 and Felice Ann Davis on April 8, 2008; and two granddaughters, Leda Smallwood on October 15, 2008 and Sabrina Jiminez in 2010. A funeral service will be held on December 9, 2013 at 1:00pm at the Berean Assembly of God. Arrangements entrusted to Springfield Memorial Funeral Home.
