Obituary of CJ Frieze

CJ “Christy” Frieze A funeral will be held at St Peter Catholic Church, December 20th, 2013 at 11:00 AM for CJ Frieze of Eugene who died December 15th, of age related illness. He was 95. CJ was born August 6, 1918, in Glenullin, ND to Emanual and Flora Frieze. He married Frances Ulm on September 28, 1943 in New England, ND. He was a grocer in New England, ND. He retired from Echo Spring Dairy in 1983. He was involved in St. Vincent de Paul for over 40 years. He enjoyed landscaping and spending time with his family & friends. He was a member of St Peter Catholic Church in Eugene, Oregon. Survivors include a daughter; Mary Ann Frieze of Eugene, 4 sisters, Minnie Heuther of Dickinson, ND, Mattie Meier of Monroe,WA, Theckla Klien of Bismarck, ND and Viola Kjos of Spearman,Texas, 2 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife Frances and son Danny and 2 sisters, Barbara & Regina. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 18th, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at Musgrove Family Mortuary. Recestation of the Rosary will be Thursday, December 19th, at 7:00 PM at St. Peter Catholic Church. Entombment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be mailed to Peace Health Sacred Heart Hospice, or St. Peter Catholic Church. Arrangements entrusted to Musgrove Family Mortuary.
