Obituary of Olivia Gibson

Olivia Gibson of Springfield, Oregon passed away on December 11, 2013 of age related causes. She was born on December 31, 1923 in Los Angeles, California and married her husband, Dick on December 12, 1948. She was a homemaker, devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was kind, loving, considerate and put everone's needs before hers. She attended her two granddaughter's school plays, figure skating competitions and shows, piano recitals and sporting events, never missing any of their activities. She enjoyed trips to Sunriver, Paulina Lake, Oregon Coast, Victoria and Carmel California. We loved her immensely and will truly miss her forever.She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Dick of Springfield, OR; son, Rick of Olympia, WA; daughter, Debbie of Eugene, OR; granddaughters, Courtney and Natalie of Eugene, OR; five sisters of Los Angeles,CA. She was preceded in death by her son, Gary.A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 11:00 at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Chapel.Arrangements entrusted to Musgrove Family Mortuary.
