Obituary of Judy Bolling

Judy passed away January 4, 2014 from a massive stroke. She was born in Aberdeen, South Dakota to Hazel and Edwin Schlosser. She attended school there then moved to Eugene, OR in 1957. She was in the first graduating class at North Eugene High School. Judy worked a few part time jobs until she met and married her husband Douglas Bolling in 1964. They were married at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church on Maxwell Rd. in Eugene on June 6, 1964. In 1968 Judy went to work for a little company with five stores, Bi Mart Corp. There she made hundreds of friends, some for a lifetime. She retired in 2005 after 37 years. Judy lived and bled the Oregon Ducks, any sports. Judy joined the Fraternal Order of Eagles in 1968 in Eugene and was still an Eagle. She had the honor of serving as Madam Oregon State President in 1987-1988 and was so proud of the honor. Judy is survived by her husband Doug of 49+ years; her mother Hazel Schlosser; a brother Marvin and (Terri) of Redmond, OR; a daughter Roseanne (Jim) Shrull of Salem, OR; a step-son Robert (Kiki) Owings of Salem, OR; two grandsons, one granddaughter, three great-grandsons, and five great-granddaughters. Burial will be at Lane Memorial Gardens. A memorial service will be held at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church at Maxwell Rd. on Saturday January 11, 2014 at 2:00 pm.
