Chef Richie Balajadia of Eugene, age 27, died on January 9, 2014.He was born in Oka, Tamuning, Guam to Ralph & Rosalind Balajadia on August 21, 1986.A Celebraton of Life will be held on Thursday, January 16th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at The Cooler Restaurant & Bar. A public viewing will be on Thursday, from 10 to 4 at Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.Richie had an Associates Degree from California Culinary Academy and worked as the Chef at The Bridge Bar & Grill. He enjoyed soccer, airsoft, kicking back with his friends and family and volunteering for various organizations.He is survived by his parents, Ralph & Rosalind, his grandmother, Virginia Eustaguio Balajadia and brother, Ralph Joseph Cruz Balajadia, friend, Cheryl Froehlich, his American Mother, Mama Diens and roommates, Americana Aulenbacher & Molly Loder and too many friends to mention in the Eugene area.Memorial Contributions can be made to Pacific Continental Bank "Richard Balajadia Donation Account'Arrangements entrusted to Musgrove Family Mortuary.
