Obituary of Marilyn Gail Hamm

HAMM: Marilyn Gail Hamm, beloved mother of Angela (Robert) and Garry (Kristie), passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Monday, September 3, 2012 at the age of 55 years. Marilyn was born in Carberry, MB on May 17, 1957. Her early years were spent in Shilo, MB and the family moved to Brandon in 1968. She attended elementary school in Shilo and Brandon Collegiate Institute and Neelin High School in Brandon. Marilyn worked in Nutrition Services at the Brandon Regional Health Centre for 25 years. She was an avid sports fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and the Minnesota Vikings. Marilyn also enjoyed bowling, playing Bingo and reading. Marilyn will be lovingly remembered by her mother Muriel; daughter Angela (Robert); and son Garry (Kristie). Also surviving are her siblings: sister Vera; sister Debbie; brother Warren (Sheree) and their children Dale, Arla, Sarah and Laurie; brother Darren and his children Alex and Nicholas; sister Marlene and her children Dennis and Delainie; sister Pamela and her children Grant (Mercedes, Julie and Gauge), Greg and Garett; sister Cheryl (Sean) and their children Andrew and Darren. Marilyn was predeceased by her father Cecil and brother Garry. A graveside service will be held at the Brandon Cemetery on Monday, September 10, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with Fr. Kevin Smith of St. Augustine's R.C. Church officiating. Donations in memory of Marilyn may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Unit 3-824-18th Street, Brandon, MB, R7A 5B7.
