Eileen was the sweetest, nicest person I felt privileged to know. Everyone who knew her adored her. Nobody more so than Bert. I could always tell when he was talking to Eileen on the phone because as gruff as he was his tone totally softened when he was talking to her. I'm so sad they are not going to be part of my life anymore.
To the family of Eileen and Bert I send my deepest condolences.
They were a colorful and pivotal role in my childhood and I adored them. A summer living with them and working at Lanmark brings a flood of wonderful memories.
They leave so many lives touched.
My sympathy to the family of Eileen & Bert . I showed horses at the same time as Eileen. She was so much fun and always so friendly and helpful to everyone. Bert was an always at the top of his game at the race track, even up until and including this year. the whole equestrian community will miss them immensely. Sincerely,
