Obituary of Stanley Andruski

ANDRUSKI: Stanley Andruski, surrounded by his family, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2012 at the age of 79 years in Brandon Regional Health Centre. Stan was born in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba on June 13, 1932, second eldest son of four children. After working and living in Saskatchewan for 2 years, Stan moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1961 where he met his future wife Gilberte (Bouchard). In May of 1963, their marriage began and lasted almost 49 wonderful years. They were blessed with three children, Jamie, Jacquie and Cher, who have brought much love and joy to them throughout the years. He was an enthusiastic fisherman and hunter and was a member of the Manitoba Wildlife Association for many years. Stan was also a proud member of the Manitoba Agricultural Museum. Along with hunting and fishing, Stan enjoyed trapping, fiddling, old time music, camping, surveying, farming, collecting antiques and going to garage sales. Stan could always find a bargain or a good deal. He could and would bargain with the best of them.
