Mark and other siblings.
I am SO VERY SORRY to hear about the loss of your mother.
I never knew your mother personally.
I only knew your incredible father and if she was married to him then she must have been pretty amazing also!
Your father was my Principal at Neelin High School. He was a PRINCE of a man, a total class act and if any of us could hope to leave half the legacy that your father did, then we will have really accomplished something within our lives!
Your father greatly impacted, impressed and affected my life in a very positive way!
Now, perhaps your parents are together once again.
My DEEP condolences go out to you Mark and all of your brothers and sisters and extended family members.
You need to get onto that School Board Mark and shake and wake things up in there!
You have my vote and that of my family members and anyone else who may ask me who to vote for.
The loss of a mother is a pretty huge loss.
Take care Mark and all family members and just remember the very positive and happy memories that you all shared together, the lessons learned, etc.
We will ALWAYS have the wonderful memories and the moments shared.
Take Care and may God comfort you, uphold you, surround you and support you at this time of deep sorrow and loss.

To the Sefton Family,
Please accept my sincere thoughts for your family on the death of your mother, Barbara.
We used to see one another a 'few' years ago (in the '30's) when her mother, Muriel Bain, and my parents Winnifred and George Brockie performed in their Concert Party. During the Fall season they would be booked for many week-nights through September and October, but not on church choir practice night. Sunday was practice night for the 'gang' usually at our house. They were a good group and had lots of laughs.
In the summer Barb's family and the Brockies would quite often picnic or camp together.
Then, we all grew up.
One conversation I remember, was with Barb and Marion at their mother's funeral. We reminisced about those fun times.
Please remember me to Beth.
Kindest regards to each of you and to your families.
Sincerely,
Mary Donovan

To all the Sefton "kids": Mark, Nancy, Karen, and Eric.
My sincerest condolences on the passing of your Mom. She held a special place in your hearts as well as in the life of my people in the community. My life was enriched when raising my own family, as she offered both practical hands on assistance and calm encouragment. She also was the beloved nursery school teacher of my children who benefited from her guidance, wisdom, and humour. In these last few years I was pleased to be one of her Facebook "friends."
I wish each of you strength and courage as you go through this inevitable life transition.
Dilys
