Our sympathies to you and your family especially Karen and Rebecca. Alyssa was a school mate of Rebecca's at JJ Nearing in St. Albert. I coached Rebecca basketball one season and she spent many times at our house after school.
I always enjoyed chatting with Scott at the door when picking up the kids. He was very personable and friendly. He was a very caring person and you could tell the way he was so good with his girls. He will surely be missed.

To All of Scott's Family:
Our thougths are with your family at this difficult time.
Although we did not know Scott, my mom Jeanette was roommates with Doreen when they worked in Regina. Over the years and many moves Doreen and mom lost touch. If you could please email me Doreen's phone number Mom would like to get in touch to express her thoughts in person.
Hold your memories close and know that your loved one is at peace and watching over you.

I am so very, very sorry for the loss of Scott. There are no words to adequately voice at how sad his passing is - I am thinking of you and your girls so much right now and praying you find strength in each other - you all look so close in your pictures. But love never dies, and Scott's love for you and his beautiful daughters will live forever, and be there for you to draw strength from in all the days to come.
I so desparately would like to be able to be there on Saturday Karen, but I just can't manage to get out - but I will be thinking of you and saying prayers for Scott out here, and always know everyone thought the absolute world of both of you. He was an awesome guy and you are a wonderful girl. This has been a long hard journey for both of you, and the testament of your love for each other to endure these tough times is one we will all aspire to.
Again Karen, I can't say enough of how sorry I am for everything that you and Scott have gone through, but know you will both be in my thoughts on Saturday, and always.
Love Val

Karen it is with great sadness to hear of the passing of Scotty N. 40yrs of knowing Scotty will always sit in my memory bank. The street hockey games the bike riding, buying the old red 78 Monarch SS car from Scott and test driving it 120 miles an hour down the number one with him, and then jokingly saying that it wasnt fast enough, thought we were both going to pee our pants. Chow, Stacy Huzina, Brad Zimmer and the boys trying our first beers together not a good scene I think we where all grounded for a month, and when your 13 thats a long time. My appoliges for not being able to attend the celebration of Scott's life, From Andy, Marilyn, Nathan and Chelsey Taylor our deepest condolences our prayer are with you and the families. Karen I still have not forgot the best spaghetti I ever had when I stayed with you and Scotty in Edmonton 21yrs ago on my move to the NWT.

Dear Karen, Rebecca and Megan,
Gerry and I are extend to you and your family our sincere condolences. Scott was a very special person, as a nurse, a husband, father and friend. His love for his family showed in his eyes whenever he talked of you or the girls. He left a footprint on the hearts of all who knew him. I know that when Gerry and I are at the lake, we will look out at the spots that Scott liked to fish, and remember the times he spent there, and when the birds are singing, and the fish are biting, we will both remember Scott. One day the tears will lessen, but the precious memories will be there forever.

It is with a heavy heart I send my condolences to Karen and family. I worked with Scott when he first came to AHE and good old 5-3 with Ian. I have always respected him and he was a professional right to the core. He was very caring and compassionate and had a good sense of humor. The world will be a little bit darker without Scott's light to shine.

Dear Karen and family,
It was sad to hear of the loss of your dear husband, Scott. We never got to meet him, but sounds like you had a wonderful husband and father to your girls. Your dad, who is my first cousin, told us the sad news.
It will take time for you to recover, but time has a way of healing. Be strong for your girls and my prayers are with you.

Dear Karen and Family
Where do i begin to say how sorry i am to hear about Scott. Scott was a very special young man and in the short time i got to work with him at Rideau he always made me smile. His quite way was always a comfort to the residents.
But most of all i was glad to meet you and have the opportunity to curl in the same league as the two of you. It was awesome and most of all i was just glad to see him out doing things that he enjoyed and I know we as the league where very blest to have to two of you in it.
Karen you and the girls take care. The road ahead of you in not a easy road and it was 11 years yesterday when my childrem and myslef lost their dad and my husband. LIke i said the road can be rough but also we found are peace as Gary was not suffering anymore.
The memories and the love of your friends and family well be your comfort.
