Obituary of Paul Norman Cearns
CEARNS: Paul Norman Cearns of Brandon passed away suddenly in the city on April 21, 2010 at the age of 32 years. Paul was born in Brandon on January 7, 1978. He attended school at Forrest Elementary and Elton Collegiate in Forrest, MB, then Crocus Plains in Brandon. He was a very active, outgoing typical boy. He worked as a cook for Patches Restaurant and most recently for Fleury Maintenance. Paul loved working with wood and metals and he also enjoyed drawing. He loved biking and spending time with kids. Paul is survived by his wife Marianne Slezak, daughter Hope Cearns, brother Garry Sinclair of Calgary, mother Frances Hayes of Calgary, father Bill Cearns of Neepawa, two nieces, three nephews, grandmother Viola, grandpa John and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. Paul was predeceased by stepfather Gary Sinclair (1988) and sister Christina Paquette (1998). The Funeral Service was held at the Brockie Donovan Chapel on April 28, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Mr. Lawrence McInnes officiating. All in attendance were considered Honorary Bearers and Kyle Kaye was the Urn Bearer. Interment took place at the Brandon Cemetery.
