Obituary of Michael Crede

CREDE: It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Timothy Clifford Crede on Saturday, July 25, 2020. Michael was born on March 4, 1990 in Brandon, Manitoba. Since birth he was always full of life, even more so around family. Michael spent most of his life residing in Brandon, graduating from Crocus Plains Regional Secondary High School in 2008. After receiving his diploma, Michael went to work in construction, however his passion was cooking. His goal was to become a restaurant owner, enrolling in the Culinary Arts Program at A.C.C. in 2019. He was sadly predeceased by his loving mother, Debra Kovach (Campbell); grandpa, Harvey; grandparents, Helen and Clifford Blacksmith and uncle, Raymond. Michael's bright spirit will continue to remain with his sisters; Lisa and Melissa; step-fathers, David Kovach and Daniel Crede; grandma, Alma; partner, Chrissy; biological father, Tim Blacksmith; half-brothers and sisters, Tricia, Adam, Lacey, Trevlyn, Mathew, Ethan, Roman, Shanae, Jaylyn and Allison; as well as numerous aunties, uncles, extended family and many friends. A private family prayer service will be held at Brockie Donovan Chapel on Tuesday, August 4, 2020. A private Mass of Christian of Burial will held at St. Augustine's Church on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 10:30a.m. with Fr. John Okosun as celebrant. Interment will follow at the Brandon Cemetery.
