Obituary of Greg Anderson
ANDERSON: Gregory Russell Anderson. In loving memory of Greg Anderson, who passed away suddenly, on July 24, 2020, at the age of 54 years. Greg is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Cindy, daughters, Paige and Camryn, as well as his mother Margaret Anderson, brothers; Richard (Eileen), Daryl and Chad; Doug (Tracey), Patti Mashinter (Greg) and Trent; sisters-in law, Angie Arthur-Kehler of Lac Du Bonnet, MB, Jackie Edwards (Craig) of San Diego, CA, brother-in-law, Chris Kehler (Rachelle) of Winnipeg, MB, as well as many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Greg was predeceased by his father, Gerald Anderson in 2015. Greg was born in Teulon, MB, June 22, 1966, the youngest of three boys. Greg enjoyed many adventures travelling with his family, settling in Carberry, where Greg attended most of his education and found his love of sports, excelling in all, especially swimming. Greg moved to Winnipeg where he met the love of his life, Cindy Kehler in 1986. Together they made Brandon their home, marrying September 15, 1990 and welcoming Paige in 1995 and Camryn in 1999. Greg loved to travel and had a special love of road trips. Whether it was a day trip, weekend trip or summer vacation trip, Greg mapped out every route, and planned every adventure for his family. Professionally Greg wore many hats, but found a work home when he began his career with RBC Royal Bank. Greg had a passion for taking care of his clients, and developing relationships with his co-workers. Greg's large personality and laugh were hard to miss. He was competitive, witty and kind. He was a friend to everybody. The love he had for "his girls" was evident. Family was everything to Greg and anyone who met him knew that. A Celebration of Greg's life was held at Brockie Donovan Chapel on July 31, 2020 with Kim Lewarne as celebrant. Greg will be privately laid to rest beside his father, at Melita Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations in memory of Greg be made to the Addiction Foundation of Manitoba, 1031 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3G 0R8 or the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 1379 Kenaston Blvd., Winnipeg, MB, R3P 2T5.
